Dark Circles

Dark circles increase with age. Here is what we could do:
  • Biostimulators (Ultracol)

    • One of the primary causes of dark circles is the loss of fat and volume in the under-eye area, which can create a hollow appearance known as tear troughs. This hollowing can cast shadows and make dark circles more noticeable. Biostimulators can help to restore volume in this area, providing a more youthful and plump appearance that minimizes the shadowing effect.
Ultracol is a gentle collagen stimulator tailored for the eye area.

  • Fillers (Teoxane RD2)

    • Fillers are injected into the tear troughs to restore volume and provide a smoother, more even surface. This helps to reduce the shadowing effect that contributes to the appearance of dark circles.
      The result is immediate.

  • BBL (Broad Band Light)

    • Dark circles are also often caused by hyperpigmentation, which is the accumulation of excess melanin in the skin under the eyes. BBL uses specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by melanin. This light energy breaks down the pigment into smaller particles. This process lightens the hyperpigmented areas, reducing the appearance of dark circles.

  • HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound )

    • HIFU works by delivering focused ultrasound energy to the deeper layers of the skin. This energy causes controlled thermal stimulation which increases collagen production to help thicken and firm the skin under the eyes, reducing the transparency that allows blood vessels and pigmentation to show through.
